Weekly outline:
Week 1: Course orientation • Review class policies, course syllabus, and project objectives. • Select teams according to skills and abilities. • Presentation and discussion of Project One. • Teams will research, develop a strategy, and create conceptual thumbnails according to the project specifications. • Teams will also assign tasks and develop a timeline with their team members.
Week 2: Project One • Teams will execute preliminary thumbnails and digital stages of project. • Teams will present ideas and timeline to class.
Week 3: Project One • Teams will create comprehensive digital visuals.
Week 4: Project One • Teams will continue to develop project.
Week 5: Project One • Teams will present work to class for pre-critique (10 pts.).
Week 6: Project One • Teams will continue to develop project.
Week 7: Project One/Two • Final presentation of Project One (50 pts.). • Students will evaluate their own as well as their team members' contributions to the project. • Presentation and discussion of Project Two. • Teams will research, develop a strategy, and create conceptual thumbnails according to the project specifications. • Teams will also assign tasks and develop a timeline with their team members.
Week 8: Project Two •Teams will continue to develop project.
Week 9: Project Two • Teams will continue to develop project. • Teams will create comprehensive digital visuals.
Week 10: Project Two • Teams will continue to develop project. • Teams will present work to class for pre-critique (part one).
Week 11: Project Two • Teams will present work to class for pre-critique (part two, 10 pts.). <<MONDAY • Final presentation of Project Two (50 pts.). <<WEDNESDAY • Students will evaluate their own as well as their team members' contributions to the project. <<HAND IN WEDNESDAY ALSO, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HANDED IN YOUR PEER EVALUATION FORM FOR PROJECT ONE.
